Chile
Chile is where my professional journey began. While living in Santiago and working as an English teacher, I took a job as a newspaper staff photographer — my first real assignments, deadlines, and bylines.
Images from this period were printed in outlets including The Santiago Times and Revista Revolver. It’s the place that turned photography from something I did into something I do.

Although I moved to Chile to teach English (TEFL), my interest in photography would play a large role as well.
Thanks to the suggestion of a friend, I joined the volunteer staff of “The Santiago Times” and its sister publication “Revista Revolver” as a contributor. These online publications focused on providing independent news coverage of Chilean affairs, culture and music.
With a Nikon D50, I documented my life while living and traveling within South America between 2008-2009.
